Cancellation & refunds
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Cancelling Plus takes one click and you never need to talk to anyone. This page explains what happens when you cancel and how refunds work.
1. How Plus is billed
Plus is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly, and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Prices include VAT. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, so the charge on your statement comes from Lemon Squeezy and your invoices are issued by them.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time: open the account page, choose Manage subscription, and cancel in the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. You can also ask us to cancel for you by writing to [TODO: contact email, e.g. privacy@your-domain].
After you cancel, you won't be charged again, and Plus stays on until the end of the period you've already paid for. Until then you can resume the subscription from the same portal. Cancelling on its own does not refund the current period; see below for refunds.
3. Your legal right to cancel
If you are a consumer in Israel, the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, gives you the right to cancel a transaction made remotely, such as an online subscription, within 14 days, under the conditions and with the deductions that the law and its regulations allow. Consumers in other countries may have similar rights under their local law. We honour these rights: to use them, write to [TODO: contact email, e.g. privacy@your-domain].
4. Refunds
Besides your legal rights, write to us if something went wrong, for example if you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or Plus didn't work for you. We review every request and answer fairly.
Approved refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method. When it shows up depends on your bank or card issuer, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
5. What a refund does to Plus
- A full refund of a payment ends Plus right away and cancels the subscription, so you won't be charged again.
- A partial refund (for example, a goodwill credit) keeps your subscription and Plus as they are.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Lemon Squeezy retries it over about two weeks and Plus stays on in the meantime. Update your card in the customer portal to keep Plus. If the payment still fails, the subscription ends and your account moves to the free plan; nothing is deleted.
7. Deleting your account
Deleting your account cancels any subscription that could still charge you, before your data is deleted. It does not refund the current period by itself; if you'd like a refund, write to us before deleting so we can still find your purchase.
8. Contact
Cancellation and refund requests: [TODO: contact email, e.g. privacy@your-domain]. Please write from the email address of your Astroma account.
